To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the Raid Pulse team is thrilled to return to Val-des-Bois for the second year in a row! This magnificent wooded and mountainous region boasts numerous lakes and trails, making it ideal for an adventure race.

It's an exceptional playground for outdoor and adventure enthusiasts. We've already scouted the course and discovered trails for mountain biking, stunning bodies of water (and a few marshes too!), and kilometers of forests and trails for the trekking and orienteering sections. Rest assured, we'll show you this place the Raid Pulse way!

Principles, Scoring and Regulations

Raid Pulse provides complete maps with checkpoints (CPs) integrated into the map, as well as race instructions. Here are a few reminders; please consult the Rules page before the event:

  • Raid Pulse manages the transport of bags, bikes, and watercraft during the event, unless otherwise indicated

  • It is possible that there may be a bike/watercraft drop-off point before the event; this information will be clearly communicated to you in advance

  • No aid stations or refuelling will be offered by Raid Pulse on the course; teams must resupply from their bags, which are accessible at certain transition areas

  • All checkpoints are optional

  • All transitions are mandatory

  • Unless otherwise instructed, CPs within a section must be completed within their respective section

  • The use of "Advanced" CPs allows leading teams to remain on the course for almost the entire allotted time. These CPs involve an additional level of difficulty. They are optional, like all CPs

  • Team members must remain together at all times (maximum distance of 10 metres). Under no circumstances must you separate

  • Teams have a maximum of 8 heures after the official start to cross the finish line. A 10-point penalty will be given for every minute of delay

  • The winning team will be the one that has accumulated the highest number of points. In the event of a tie, the shortest time will determine the ranking

Exemple:

  • Team "Ribs" completes the race with 650 pts in 7h30m

  • Team "Extra sauce" completes the course with 650 pts 7h45m

  • Team "2 Chicken" completes the course with 700 pts in 7h50m

  • Team "Traditional coleslaw" completes the course with 700 pts in 8h06m

The results will therefore be:

  1. 2 Chickens

  2. Ribs

  3. Extra sauce

  4. Traditional coleslaw

categories

  • Female duo

  • Youth duo

  • Mixed duo
