Information
To celebrate its 24th anniversary, the Raid Pulse team is proud to invite you to ”location to be confirmed” area for a thrilling adventure race. It’s a wooded and hilly location with numerous beautiful lakes and MTB trails, ideal for an adventure race.
Let me tell we will have quite a playground for outdoor and adventure lovers. We have already identified many mountain bike trails, superb lake locations, kilometres of forest and and trails for the trekking and orientation sections. Be assured that we will make you discover this area the Raid Pulse way so prepare yourself for an exciting adventure.
As usual, we want to offer a quality event in pristine nature including the three basic disciplines in adventure racing (trekking/bushwalking, paddling and mountain biking).
Teams must complete the course by reaching the various check points using the maps provided by Raid Pulse. During the regular course the navigation difficulty level will be accessible to all levels of experience (parts of the regular course will be marked). Of course, an experienced team should make fewer errors and complete the course more rapidly.
There will also be some advanced sections for teams that are looking for a bigger challenge with more technical navigation and added distance.
Specific event details
3 1/2 hour rogaine style event. Total race time is planned to be 3 1/2 hours. All teams must cross the finish line before that time to avoid a time penalty. Please note that this year the advanced section will be planned so that the top teams will be on the course for all of the allocated time.

IMPORTANT:
We use the ‘Maprun’ app to validate the checkpoints. This app uses your smartphone’s GPS system and no internet data will be needed during the event. We tested the app in the field, it works very well, and it is very simple to use. Follow this link to get all the information on how it works and try it. In case the app does not work (for any reason), there will be a punch at each of the CP’s to validate your passage.
