Race report and results
Congratulations to all participants who took part in the Sprint AR! It was an awesome adventure in Wakefield. For the first leg of the event, the hilly terrain provided a good challenge for the teams. With the warm and humid weather, the level of difficulty went up a notch for the trekking section on the trails of Ski Vorlage. The race ended on the Gatineau river for a well deserved paddling section after all that hot weather.
Once again bravo to all the teams who successfully met the challenge of the course.
It would simply be impossible to organize such an event without the enthusiastic participation of numerous volunteers; special thanks goes out to all of them for their contribution to making this race a great success.
Modifications for the 2012 Sprint AR (following 2011 participant comments)
Reduction of the length of the regular course and increase of the length of the advanced course to allow more teams to complete the regular course. More teams will have the chance to experience the advanced course.
We will start the race earlier to avoid the warm PM weather.
